CCAC Meeting – 16 October 2012

Quite a few things on the agenda this month, from updates on the Crozet Library construction to Crozet Trails Day (October 21!) to a “future item” to contact the new Old Trail management.

Last month’s meeting had a lot so news, and I’m still apologetic that the tweet-story by Storify got deleted when they had an outage.

  1. The only thing that interests me in Crozet is an explanation of the three main walkers in Crozet. There is the dude that walks and flings a large wooden stick around. There is also the guy who walks every day rain or shine. And lastly, the great wandering walker, tall dude with a walking stick that looks like he is out of the doors movie.

  2. I find it very annoying that your reader feels he needs an explanation of why certain individuals walk Crozet. What will he do about it when someone gives him the explanation? I happen to know one of them walks for health and enjoyment. Perhaps he should take up another INTEREST himself instead of monitoring who likes to walk in Crozet. No one asked him to come here and start worrying about others rights.

    1. I don’t find being interested in others annoying or offensive. I think it shows that someone is curious about someone they see every day.

      Curiosity is natural. Right?

      1. He didn’t say he was curious, he said he wanted an explanation. And it was the only thing in Crozet that interested him. Sounds like he is bothered about it to me. Thats what I find annoying. Crozet has and always will be made up of different types of people but we shouldn’t need explanations as to how they like to spend their time.

Something to say?
