Crozet Trails Crew Update – Bridges, 5K, Volunteer Appreciation Day

via email …

Wooo Wheee, the trail for the 5k is really shaping up to be a nice one. I wish I could run in the race! Maybe I could win the bridge…

That brings me to an important announcement: This year, as a result of some questions and requests, we will honor the first place male AND the first place female with a bridge. So don’t let your concern over the opposite sex running so darn fast keep you from the race on October 12th!

Upcoming:
This Saturday- Workday! Putting the last minute touches on the 5k route. Meet at Crozet Park (lower playground) at 8:30am. Come on out and check out the beautiful trail!

This Sunday-Adam George Bridge Dedication. Come on out! Meet at the Foothills Crossing cul-de-sac at 3pm.

Saturday, October 12th- The big event. Yippee! Run it, jog it, walk it, or volunteer–but be there!

Saturday, October 19th- County-sponsored Volunteer  Appreciation Day!
You are cordially invited to attend
The Albemarle County Parks and Recreation
