Art & Wine: Bill Reckert Photography – 2 Jul 2017@Batesville Market

Join photographer Bill Reckert for the opening of his new Batesville Market Art Show. This exhibit, on display through the end of July, will offer never before seen large works in both black and white and color to include familiar faces of local musician friends familiar to Batesville audiences. We’ll have complimentary wine tasting, too!

About the artist:
Over the course of his career, Bill Reckert has taken photos in hurricanes, hung out of a helicopter over a surging glacier, and photographed the vice president of the United States. In his role as photographer for the US Geological Survey and, later, FEMA, he photographed political dignitaries as well as capturing dramatic images of the natural world, including Alaska’s Bering Glacier and natural disasters such as Hurricane Hugo. He has also photographed numerous recording artists, including extensive photography documenting the career of singer Tori Amos.
