The Birdscape: Birds Through the Eyes of a Park Ranger

Crozet Artisan Depot is hosting award-winning park naturalist and veteran “birder” EVAN SPEARS on Saturday, March 11th. Evan will lead a morning bird walk in the Crozet area followed by a discussion and slide show at The Depot. Light snacks and refreshments will be served.

This event is free to the public. Those wishing to participate in the bird walk should meet at The Depot by 8:30 am. It is recommended that participants wear shoes they feel comfortable in for a leisurely walk – keep an eye on the weather forecast and bring layers as needed. The walk will conclude at The Depot at approximately 10:30 am for refreshments. Ranger Evan will present his collection of wildlife photographs and share some natural stories from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm.
