Kids Art Workshop, Pumpkin Carving & Kombucha Tasting

Hey kids! We’ve got lots of fun things going on Sunday October 22! All morning you can see apple butter being canned and buy some at the Ruritans Apple Butter Days.

At 1:30, local artist Erin M. Lahan will be leading a kids art workshop. Please come help us make post cards to send Virginia love to kids in Puerto Rico and let them know they are not forgotten! Art supplies will be provided.

Need a pumpkin? Buy a pumpkin at the Market and carve it here! Parents should bring carving utensils safe for their kids; we’ll have a few carving implements on hand, too. Your pumpkin can also be entered into the contest on Saturday, 10/28 at Second Draw’s Scary Halloween show.

We’ll be serving our regular menu plus special pulled pork sandwiches with apple BBQ sauce and spicy slaw and vegetarian three-bean chili all weekend, so come for lunch and have some fun! Plus Blue Ridge Bucha will be on hand for kombucha tasting!
