Toe-Tapping with Crozet Jazz Project

Enjoy an evening of ‘chamber jazz’ as our guest quartet explores tunes from the “Great American Songbook” with wit and spontaneous invention. Guitarist Vince Lewis is a veteran jazz composer, performer and recording artist and educator currently nominated for the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame. Drummer Phil Riddle has appeared with many top level Jazz and Blues artists and is known for his impeccable sense of time and musical sensibilities. Bob Bowen is in demand as a creative bassist who always maintains a groove. Bob performs at the Greenbrier Resort and the Homestead and is a mainstay at many Virginia jazz clubs. John Jensen served with the US Navy Band Commodores and has performed throughout the United States. He currently plays trombone with the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra and recently toured with that band in Kenya, Russia and Egypt. For ages 16+.
