Grand Opening of Blue Mountain Brewery’s New Restaurant & Brew Pub Set For Wednesday, September 21, 2011

The new facility features additional restaurant, bar & patio seating, an expanded kitchen and space for private events.

NELSON COUNTY (AFTON), VA- September 14, 2011- Blue Mountain Brewery is excited to announce the Grand Opening of the restaurant & brew pub expansion. The event is set for Wednesday, September 21st from 5-9pm and will feature live music, our new menu, specials & more. The new space offers a much larger patio with the same Blue Ridge Mountain views, nearly double the indoor seating, a larger tasting bar and an expanded kitchen. “Our great team of local contractors have been working hard on the new space for about 9 months and it is very exciting to see it come to life.” said Mandi Smack, owner of Blue Mountain Brewery. “The space allows us to offer an expanded Blue Mountain beer selection, more menu items (including a selection of burgers) and additional seating which we desperately needed, especially in the winter months.”

The previous restaurant & patio have been converted into The Blue Mountain Beer Hall, which is available for private events such as rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, and corporate dinners. “In the past we had many inquiries about hosting parties at Blue the brewery but we just didn’t have the space. Now we can accommodate up to 65 guests for an indoor private event and even more when the outdoor patio is used. It’s already been very popular and we are booking all kinds of events for the rest of 2011 and into 2012” said Jessica Bullard, Event Coordinator for Blue Mountain Brewery.

Blue Mountain Brewery is located on Rt. 151 in Nelson County (Afton), Virginia and is open 7 days a week (Mon-Sat from 11:30am until 10pm and Sunday from 11am-9pm) for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch.
