Ann Mallek Running for Reelection

From the Crozet Calendar:

Albemarle County Supervisor Ann Mallek will announce her candidacy for Supervisor representing the White Hall district.

She was first elected to the seat in 2007.

When: Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 10 am
Where: Crozet Western Albemarle Library, Front door, east side

  1. That’s unfortunate. Ann Mallek does not do a good job. She supports raising taxes as opposed to being fiscally responsible. She supported the Rt 29 Rio interchange which is a huge waste of money for little benefit. She won’t get my vote.

    1. She has no original ideas. Wasting money on a Municipal building and a very expensive road realignment in Crozet proves this. Add to this her habit of delegating
      her core duties so she can play politics leaves us to the state we are now in.
      She has had her chance, I would feel real lucky if she would just go away…

        1. The Municipal Building that has a Library in it was not her idea and was overkill for what was needed. Streetscapes or whatever was copied from Scottsville and did not do anything but narrow the road
          at a fantastic cost. Delegating means she did not perform her core duties. While she was refusing to step down as Chair of the BOS and
          trying to get on the MPO who was representing her district? Her district is a lot more than Crozet. Also deferring to an unelected
          committee is called what???
