Art on the Trax hosting “Tides” by Rachel Singel

Art on the Trax will host “Tides” by Rachel Singel during the month of December, with a Second Saturday Artist Reception on December 13th.

Rachel Singel received her BA from the University of Virginia in 2009 and MFA the University of Iowa in 2013. She has participated in residencies at the Penland School of Crafts and the Venice Printmaking Studio, and is currently teaching art courses at Albemarle High School and the University of Virginia. Her works are inspired by the beautiful and complex forms she sees in nature.

Join us for our Second Saturday Opening Reception on December 13th.  This reception is part of Crozet’s Second Saturday events and runs from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.  While you get to know this amazing local artist, we’ll be serving up The Art Box’s famous ice cream sundaes topped with fruit from local orchards.

All events are free and open to the public. Art on the Trax is located in Creative Framing and The Art Box, across from the Olde Crozet Train Station, 5784 Three Notch’d Road in Crozet, Virginia.
