Art on the Trax: Second Saturday Art Opening with Joanna Mullen

Art on the Trax will present “Wish You Were Here: Made Up Collages of Real Life Places” by Joanna Mullen during the month of May, with a Second Saturday Artist Reception on May 9^th.

A collage artist that truly lives the craft, Joanna Mullen is constantly cutting out images, purveying supplies, and orchestrating new compositions. Her contemporary works are vintage-inspired and conjure nostalgia.   Her familiar landscape seamlessly blends with dreamscape.

Please join us for our Second Saturday Opening Reception on May 9^th.  This reception is part of Crozet’s Second Saturday events and runs from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.  We’ll be serving up The Art Box’s famous ice cream sundaes topped with fruit from local orchards.

All events are free and open to the public. Art on the Trax is located in Creative Framing and The Art Box, across from the Olde Crozet Train Station, 5784 Three Notch’d Road in Crozet, Virginia.
