June 8, 2014 @ 10:00 - 17:00

homesteading, the first in our summer series of creative retreats, focuses on activities that bring us closer to the land we live upon.  Gardening, bee keeping, chicken keeping, canning – simple acts we approach with heart that enrich our lives and those around us.

Join us as we gather Sunday, June 8 at Knole Farm to share our knowledge in workshops focusing on the simple yet rewarding pleasures of homesteading. Just outside of Charlottesville,  this working family farm set in the bucolic countryside of Virginia is the perfect setting to discuss the pleasures of self sufficiency that come along with homesteading.

Choose a morning and an afternoon workshop from our offering of four for a total of two for the day.  Our day will begin at 10 with your morning workshop.  We’ll break for lunch provided by Aha! Cuisine before our afternoon session commences.  Before we head back out to the world, we’ll cap the day with a celebratory wine tasting featuring Knights Gambit wines grown on the property and reception.
