Second Saturday Art Opening with Marissa Minnerly – May 13th, 4-6pm; FREE

Art on the Trax will present “Hidden Realm” oil paintings and mixed media by Marissa Minnerly during the month of May, with a Second Saturday Artist Reception on Saturday, May 13^th from 4-6pm and a special “Meet the Artist” event on Saturday, May 6^th from 1-3pm.

The works in this show are influenced by a year of working in nature, gardening and learning about the animals all around us. In this year of study, Minnerly has become aware that much is hidden in plain sight. She also includes images that represent feelings that have arisen during this time – from solitary contemplation in the early morning and sunset.

Please join us for Second Saturday Opening Reception on May 13^th. This reception is part of Crozet’s Second Saturday events and runs from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. We’ll be serving up The Art Box’s famous ice cream sundaes topped with fruit from local orchards.  You are also invited to a special “Meet the Artist” event on Saturday, May 6^th from 1-3pm.

All events are free and open to the public. Art on the Trax is located at Creative Framing and The Art Box, across from the Olde Crozet Train Station, 5784 Three Notch’d Road in Crozet, Virginia.
