Second Saturdays Art Opening @ Art on the Trax with Blue Ridge Art Guild

Art on the Trax will present “Summer Works” by the Blue Ridge Art Guild during the month of August, with a Second Saturday Artist Reception on 8^th.

Blue Ridge Art Guild, founded in January 2014, is an autonomous group of representational painters with studios in the Charlottesville-Crozet area.  The Guild’s mission is to broaden artistic horizons through the exploration of the creative process in fellowship with other members.  The mission honors such groups as The Impressionists, The 10th Street Galleries members and The California Bay Area Painters with a rich exchange of ideas and encouragement. Exhibitions focus on a shared quest of careful observation seen through the prism of individual experience.  Artists involved in this group are Anne French, Bridget Atwell Baylin, Carol Zeimer, Hina Naeem, Lanier Bogen, Sarah Tremaine, Sarah Henry Trundle, and Tara Bolt.

Please join us for our Second Saturday Opening Reception on August 8^th.  This reception is part of Crozet’s Second Saturday events and runs from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.  We’ll be serving up The Art Box’s famous ice cream sundaes topped with fruit from local orchards.

All events are free and open to the public. Art on the Trax is located in Creative Framing and The Art Box, across from the Olde Crozet Train Station, 5784 Three Notch’d Road in Crozet, Virginia.
