Second Saturdays Art Opening @ Art on the Trax with Julia Lesnichy

Art on the Trax will “Impressionistic Plein Air Landscapes of Virginia” by Julia Lesnichy during the month of January, with a Second Saturday Artist Reception on January 10^th.

Julia Lesnichy is a Russian-born impressionist oil and pastel painter.  Her work is generally plein air and alla prima, using a broken-color technique.  She is a student of color and light, rendering the beauty of nature.

Join us for our Second Saturday Opening Reception on January 10^th.  This reception is part of Crozet’s Second Saturday events and runs from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.  While you get to know one Julia and her work, we’ll be serving up The Art Box’s famous ice cream sundaes topped with fruit from local orchards.

All events are free and open to the public. Art on the Trax is located in Creative Framing and The Art Box, across from the Olde Crozet Train Station, 5784 Three Notch’d Road in Crozet, Virginia.
