Trail Work Day – June 23

Pruning, trimming and mowing the Creekside Trail along Lickinghole Creek in Old Trail. Meet at the Creekside Trail entrance, down from the street at the intersection of Welbourne Lane and Millstream Drive..
Directions: Jarmans Gap Road to Old Trail Drive. Pass the first traffic circle, then turn right on Welbourne Ln. Park along the street near the first intersection (Millstream Drive) then take the trail downhill on the left to the Creekside Trail entrance, marked with a Greenways sign.
Our Saturday work days are scheduled to start at 9:00 a.m. and finish about 11 or 12:00. But feel free to come and spend as much time as you are able. Bring your kids — kids we’ve had at recent work days have a great time. No special knowledge or gear is required. Wear sturdy shoes and gloves, bring water, and use our tools or bring your own. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
