Married duo, Blair’s West, Beau and “Junior”, got their start in Nashville back in 2010. They were married in 2009 and after pursuing music separately they naturally fell into making music together. They’ve played together all over the country and after starting a family they made the decision to relocate to be near family. They are now based out of Richmond, VA, where they continue to perform together.
Dara James (from Jon Spear Band) will be playing some Acoustic Blues and lots of Folk, Rock & Americana (Originals & Covers) at Brewing Tree Beer Company. Dara James’s soulful vocals & Clapton-like chops make for a great Sunday Afternoon of Music, Beer & Food He covers a wide range of diverse genres.
We have music at our Brewery every Saturday and Sunday from 2-5. We have an emphasis on local musicians and bands. Join us at Brewing Tree Beer Company for Saturday Afternoon Music from Rick Hollowell! Rick performs popular cover songs from all decades and all genres.
The Crozet Chorus will present it’s annual Christmas Concert at 4 p.m. on December 14. This year’s theme is Sound of the Season: Carols and Cheer. The event will be held at The Crozet Baptist Church on St. George’s Avenue. Admission in free.
Close out 2017 with a bang! Join us for beignets, blues, brass and brews. We’ll spend the afternoon enjoying the smooth jazz stylings of The Jazz Connection and unwind before we usher in 2018.
The Jazz Connection is a cohort of local jazz musicians. The lineup includes Bob Bowen on double bass, David Weiss on piano, Brandon Rose on trumpet, and Monte Parsons on drums. Bob is one of the area’s preeminent jazz bass players. You may recognize him from his gigs with the late Hod O’Brien, and many other jazz greats. David Weiss started his piano playing career in New York City, but has recently been playing with the Jazz Collective and his own trio, “Jazz 1-2-3”. Brandon Rose is also a long time local trumpet player, and has appeared with many jazz groups around Charlottesville. The line-up is rounded out with Monte Parsons on the drums. Monte has most recently been the drummer for the Jazz Collective, a group that held a weekly restaurant gig for 11 straight years. The Jazz Connection brings a repertoire of jazz standards, blues, Latin-inspired, and funk-driven tunes that are sure to have you tapping your feet and swaying along with the band.
