No experience required! Just follow along while our Social Painting Instructor guides you step-by-step through the featured painting in about two hours. If you’re feeling creative, change the colors to suit your décor or go completely rogue. We provide all the painting supplies: a 16”x20” canvas, acrylic paint, brushes, smock, music, and a good time.

Itinerant bluesy folk singer-songwriter Philip Gibbs, a native of Austin, TX, has played more than 2500 shows in 35 states over the past 20 years. After spending five years on the road in the early 2010s, Gibbs spent a year and a half holed up in the High Rockies, experimenting and performing with a mountain music string band called Silver City.
The thaw of 2016 saw a move to Richmond, VA and a weekly residency at Bisou Bistro in historic Harpers Ferry, WV, traveling back and forth through the ghost lands of the Civil War. Greatly influenced by Woody Guthrie, Townes Van Zandt and Bob Dylan, Gibbs writes and sings from the heart, “turning simple working-class love anthems into potent, soulful jewels.”
Please join us at Starr Hill Brewery to raise a pint to all our four-legged friends and to help raise money for the Crozet Dog Park. A dollar will be donated for each pint purchased on August 9th from 11AM — 8PM. The outside patio is fido-friendly so please feel free to bring your favorite pooch !
