Arbor Day in Mint Springs Park!

Charlottesville Area Tree Stewards and Albemarle County Parks Department invite you to come stretch your legs, represent Crozet, and enjoy one of our local treasures on Arbor Day!
5:00 pm, April 29, at Mint Springs Valley Park
Meet at the trailhead kiosk.
The Boundary Oak is an uphill, twenty minute walk on the Fire Trail.
Crozet, County, Park officials and visitors will join Charlottesville Area Tree Stewards for a few words about Arbor Day and Tree Stewards’ Landmark Tree designation.
This is a large, historic Northern Red Oak, at the park boundary.
Neighbors kept the area open long ago, so the tree grew its lower branches and crown out fully. There are many large trees along the walk.
