Barbara Ryan, “The New Sustainable Garden: Designing With Native Plants” — 31 March 2022

The founder and owner of Chain Bridge Native Landscapes LLC in McLean, Ryan will discuss the roles that native plant communities and layering play in designing effective native gardens that improve biodiversity and sustainability while offering natural beauty throughout the year. Ryan holds a master’s degree in sustainable landscape design from The George Washington University and is a certified Virginia Horticulturist, a Level 2 Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional, and a Fairfax Master Naturalist.
