Saturday Afternoon Music at Brewing Tree Beer Company w/ Richmond’s Blair’s West! Expect anything from The Beatles, The Eagles & Tom Petty… to CCR, The Dixie Chicks, Merle Haggard and Everything In Between!

Married duo, Blair’s West, Beau and “Junior”, got their start in Nashville back in 2010. They were married in 2009 and after pursuing music separately they naturally fell into making music together. They’ve played together all over the country and after starting a family they made the decision to relocate to be near family. They are now based out of Richmond, VA, where they continue to perform together.

Dara James (from Jon Spear Band) will be playing some Acoustic Blues and lots of Folk, Rock & Americana (Originals & Covers) at Brewing Tree Beer Company. Dara James’s soulful vocals & Clapton-like chops make for a great Sunday Afternoon of Music, Beer & Food He covers a wide range of diverse genres.

We have music at our Brewery every Saturday and Sunday from 2-5. We have an emphasis on local musicians and bands. Join us at Brewing Tree Beer Company for Saturday Afternoon Music from Rick Hollowell! Rick performs popular cover songs from all decades and all genres.

Paint Nite at Starr Hill Brewery

No experience required! Just follow along while our Social Painting Instructor guides you step-by-step through the featured painting in about two hours. If you’re feeling creative, change the colors to suit your décor or go completely rogue. We provide all the painting supplies: a 16”x20” canvas, acrylic paint, brushes, smock, music, and a good time.

Come out early to enjoy a meal before we get started, just let them know you’re with Paint Nite. Secure your seats 15 minutes before start time, especially if part of a large group. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price.  NO BYOB. Events are for adults, 21+ only.

The third Thursday of every other month is the Central Virginia Blues SocietyAcoustic Jam! Each jam features a rotating cast of the many talented musicians living in Central Virginia, playing and collaborating to make every performance unique! Join us this Sunday as they turn it up with an electric jam featuring special guests!

The Central Virginia Blues Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization that recognizes and celebrates the Blues as one of the most enduring, important and influential forms of American music. The CVBS aims to promote the heritage, performance, appreciation, and vitality of blues and related music forms by building a strong membership base throughout Central Virginia; organizing jam sessions, festivals, live music performances and educational events; building larger audiences for blues music throughout the region by fostering greater public appreciation of blues music and performers; supporting venues that showcase blues music; encouraging business involvement with the blues community; developing and providing educational music workshops and classroom programs; honoring and raising the visibility of Central Virginia blues performers; publicizing its accomplishments; and developing funding to support all of its efforts.

Devil’s’ General Manager Chris Trotter tells us that Crandall and friends granted a portion of the site back to Nelson County for the possible purpose of building a skate park. “The plan is to make this area the Virginia Jackson Hole,” says Trotter, who is referring, of course, to über cool resort town Jackson Hole, Wyoming, which is beloved almost as much for its dining, entertaining and non-skiing recreations as it is for its amazing slopes and powder.
