  1. I do not understand why you feel it is important to add the following lines to this
article: “Local government, folks. It matters. Whether you like it or not.”

    This is not truthful information.
Crozet is an unincorporated community. As such there is not any local Govt.
Crozet, as part of Albemarle County is governed by the Albemarle County Board of Supervisor’s. They have meetings in the County office building in Charlottesville Va.

Even though some people think that they actually run and represent the people of Crozet they do not. They only represent themselves.

Those are the facts. Any doubters should email [email protected].

If you keep saying something over and over does it make it true???

    1. CCAC is part of local government.

      The CCAC:

The Crozet Community Advisory Committee (CCAC) is an advisory committee that provides assistance to County staff and the Board of Supervisors on civic/community issues related to implementation of the Crozet Master Plan in accordance with established county procedures. Members will communicate with their constituencies to increase understanding of and support for successful implementation of the Master Plan. The membership is broad-based to incorporate a variety of perspectives and ideas and to provide citizens, businesspersons and representatives of active community groups a chance to be engaged and be heard in a constructive and meaningful way. The Crozet Community Advisory Committee is guided by two key documents, the Fact Sheet and the Rules of Procedure.

  2. Sorry, you are really stretching things. They have no power, are not bound to represent anyone but themselves and, they are basically what volunteers are to a hospital. They are part of it and that is about it. The basis of Govt. in the US is
elected representation. They are not elected and the area they claim does not
exist as an incorporated area. They might as well claim to represent the clouds…

Something to say?
