Middle grades and up: Book Signing With Award Winning Author Kathryn Erskine!

Kathryn Erskine won the National Book Award for Mockingbird a few has a new novel for middle grade readers,and we’re excited. As the author puts it, “It’s what happens when you take a boy named Julian, his anxiety, a telescope, a treehouse, a life jacket, a Styrofoam boat, s’mores, even a statue of the BVM (as Julian would say, “Look it up”), and shake them up with a lot of personalities … they turn into what I hope is great ride.”

Middle-grade readers with parent or other adult are encouraged to attend.

Immediately after Phil James published Secrets of the Blue Ridge: Stories From Western Albemarle, his first collection of pieces from the Crozet Gazette, customers started asking when the second volume would be out!

We’re happy to say that the book has arrived, and that the author will join us for a discussion and book signing on Saturday, February 15th at 6:30pm.**
