Greetings! The industrious Crozet Trails Crew worker bees are at it again! Bridging the gaps.
There will be a workday this Wednesday (tomorrow!). See message below from Phil, Crew leader.
Our next workday after that will be on Saturday, October 5th, starting at 8:30am. I’ll send out a reminder next week (with any other updates).
MARK YOUR CALENDARS for Sunday October 6th at 3pm. We will have a dedication event for the Adam George Bridge to honor the winner of the 2012 Crozet Trails Day 5k race. Come join the fun and check out the new bridges (without being asked to work on them!). The more folks the better. Meet at 3pm in Foothills Crossing, at the first cul-de-sac on the left that has no houses (See attached map). The Crozet Gazette will be there and we want to make sure that it is conveyed to the larger Crozet community just how important the work of the CTC is.
Thanks and enjoy this lovely Fall weather. See you all On October 12th, if not before.
We are having a work party on Wednesday,September 25, starting around 9:00AM,
We will meet at the first Cul de sac in unfinished section of Foothills Crossing (See attached map).
We will finish the deck of the Joseph Taylor Bridge.
We will also do some cleaning up of the trails for the 5K race, and will help Dan Mahon and his crew install the temporary bridge at West Hall.??So it should be the last bridge construction day! (for a while at least).??I hope you decide to join the festivities.
