Downtown Crozet Initiative to give presentation on wayfinding project
Planning has been underway for the redevelopment of the Barnes Lumberyard in Crozet for many years as part of an expansion of the downtown area.
One of the intended features is a public plaza and one of the players is the nonprofit Downtown Crozet Initiative which recently won a $15,000 grant to develop “wayfinding” signs, as explained in the December 2025 Crozet Gazette.
The Crozet Community Advisory Committee will get an update from Joe Fore, a member of the DCI’s Board of Directors. They meet at 7 p.m. in the Crozet Library at 2020 Library Avenue. (calendar item) (agenda)
For those curious, the lumberyard project has been underway for quite some time.
(it would useful if the DCI updated their blog)
I tried to get the agenda from albemarle.org, but alas.

Bluesky? Really? Come on, normal people use X.
You and I have different definitions of “normal.”
… “X is a thriving hub for Nazi support and propaganda, with paid subscribers sharing speeches by Adolf Hitler or content praising his genocidal regime. ”

Jim,
Welcome to the mass platform digital world. I do not use it, but you realize that some world leaders use X. It simply mirrors our culture and current state of the world. Just learn to hold your nose and say what you want to say…
Poor Jimmy. He’s afraid of X because some fake news sites (e.g. NBC) say false things about it. Clearly Jimmy, you have TDS in a bad way. But many of us knew that that for a long time. You really should attempt to educate yourself instead of living in a fantasy world.
