From Meg West: As a member of both the Crozet Community Association (CCA) and the Crozet Community Advisory Council (CCAC), I volunteered to put together three locations for Crozet Welcome signs.

New Track wanted at WAHS

From Channel 29 : A number of track and field athletes and their parents are lobbying for a new surface to run on at Western Albemarle High School. They say the current track is not safe. If government can’t provide it, why not fundraise for it?

…This is the part where I beg a government or journalism student at Western Albemarle High school to attend this meeting and write a story for RealCrozetVA … after four years of asking, I’m thinking I shouldn’t hold my breath.

Update on Status of Crozet Projects

Thanks to Tim Tolson for putting this together.

This is an update from Trevor Henry, Capital Program Manager in the County’s Office of Facilities Development.

He met with the Project Manager’s (PMs) on the various Crozet Projects (Library/Main Street – Ron Lilley;  Crozet Ave/Utilities – Jack Kelsey;  Storm Water – Gregor Patsch) and  assembled the attached update. I have also posted this update, along with the still current October 2008 drawing of the planned improvements for StreetScape II, in our CCAC bulletin board in the Crozet Post Office.

Crozet Community Association Meeting Tonight 13 January

A reminder that our bi-monthly Crozet Community Association (CCA) meeting is tomorrow, Thursday, January 13th at 7:30 PM at the Field School (across from Crozet Elementary).
