December’s (2015) Crozet Gazette – Chock Full of Good Stuff

A few stories from this month’s Crozet Gazette (don’t neglect to pick up a copy at one of our local stores!)

• Tom Loach is retiring at Planning Commissioner.  Tom’s position will be filled by CCAC chair Jennie Laferty More, who will be joining her father, Mac Lafferty on the Planning Commission.
• Two Large Residential Projects Go Before CCAC Dec. 16 — at some point, I suspect the County is going to have to address new neighborhoods’ impact on schools, roads, and other infrastructure concerns. Maybe.
• Crozet Elementary Teachers Focus on Project-Based Learning at VMI STEM Conference — very cool, and not solely because they went to my alma mater.
• Piedmont Place gets smaller.
• Crozet Christmas Tree shines again. Another example of how awesome the Crozet community is.
• Back to Fitness: Cycling Mecca – if you don’t know about the Miller School Endurance Cycling Team, this is a great introduction.
